Could ya keep it down?

The Husband serves as the courtesy officer at the apartment complex we live in.   His number is available to residents for minor incidents.  He really has absolute no police power when he is not on duty, so it really is just a way for apartment management to make residents think there is some kind of security when really there is not.  In exchange for his courtesy officer duties we get a nice discount on rent.  The calls he gets from residents are for one of two things; either their car was towed or noise.
The phone rang last night and it was Husband calling from work.  I was a little annoyed at the timing of his call because I was having a sweet Dirty Dancing themed night releasing MyInnerCheerleader.  My iphone was connected to the speakers so his call totally stopped the music.  Catching my breath, I answered.
"Hey, honey. Any chance you are releasing your InnerCheerleader?"
"Duhhh, yes, that is why I am out of breath.  What's going on? Busy night?"
"Not so much at work, but I just got a courtesy call from the apartments.  A neighbor is complaining about stomping, loud music and they think someone is singing along.  Honey, I'm pretty sure it is you.  Could you keep it down?"

Ooops.

  3. I like how he identified what you were doing before he told you to keep it down. My hubby does the exact same thing. LOL.

  4. I do the exact same thing when I release MY inner cheerleader. Thank God I don't live in an apartment, though.
